School show ticketing, done for you.
Parents pick their own seats in your auditorium. A ticketing specialist draws the chart and sets up every production, and the school never pays a thing.
What everyone sees
Directors and boosters see sales, check-ins, and the money for every show.
Show weekend, handled.
The school play, the musical, and the band and choir concerts: reserved seating in your auditorium, student and adult prices, a presale link for your families, tickets in Apple and Google Wallet, and a box office app for show night. Free for schools.
Before tickets go on sale
- Your auditorium, drawn for you
Send a photo or the seating diagram from the office. We build the chart, free.
- Every production in one place
The fall play, the musical, the winter and spring concerts. One account, a chart for each night.
- Student, senior, and adult prices
Set a price for each, and change them show by show.
While families buy
- A presale for your families
Send cast and band families the presale link. Only they can buy early, then sales open to everyone on the date you pick.
- Tickets in the phone's wallet
Apple and Google Wallet, so nobody hunts through email at the auditorium doors.
- Email everyone who bought
A snow day, a new call time, a parking note. One announcement reaches every family.
Show night
- Scan at the door
Volunteers scan tickets in with their own phones.
- Sell walk-ups
Card or cash at the door, from the same seating chart. We can send card readers.
- Get paid
Direct deposit as tickets sell, or a check to the school or the boosters after the show.

Your ticketing specialist
Every organization on Hometown Tickets has a named ticketing specialist who sets up your events, draws your seating charts, and answers the phone. It's how we've always done it, and it's included for everyone.
- 01
Your dates, your prices, and a photo or diagram of the room. An email is enough.
- 02
Your specialist draws the seating chart, sets up every performance, and puts your presale on a schedule. You look it over and say go.
- 03
The box office app, the scanner, and payouts come with it. When you call, the same person picks up.
Questions schools ask about play and concert ticketing.
How much does school ticketing cost?
Nothing. Schools pay no setup, monthly, or per-event fees, and every feature is included. Ticket buyers pay a small service fee at checkout, which you can show as a line item or fold into the ticket price.
Do we need a contract or a purchase order?
No. There is nothing to sign and nothing to pay, so there is nothing to run past the district office. A director or a booster parent can set the school up in an afternoon.
Can you build a seating chart of our auditorium?
Yes. Send a photo, the seating diagram from the office, or a rough sketch and your ticketing specialist draws a reserved-seating chart of the real room at no charge. Families then pick their own seats when they buy.
Can the play, the musical, and the concerts all use one account?
Yes. Every production and concert lives under the school's account, each with its own seats, prices, and dates, and each director can have their own login.
Can we charge different prices for students, seniors, and adults?
Yes. Set a price for each kind of ticket, and change them from show to show.
Can cast and band families buy before the public?
Yes. Every show comes with a presale link you can send to your families. Only the people who get the link can buy early, and sales open to everyone on the date and time you choose. You can also cap how many tickets one buyer gets, so every family gets seats.
How do families get their tickets?
By email right after they buy, with a pass for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so nobody is hunting through their inbox at the auditorium doors.
Can we sell tickets at the door on show night?
Yes. The box office app sells walk-ups from the same seating chart, by card or cash. We can send card readers, and your volunteers scan tickets in with their own phones.
Can the booster treasurer see what sold?
Yes. Every order is in the dashboard, with sales reports and exports you can open in a spreadsheet.
How does the school get paid?
Direct deposit as ticket money comes in, or a check after the show made out to the school, the district, or the booster club, whichever you name.
